  1. What is durability?

    The resistance that concrete exhibits to deterioration due to environmental or chemical factors and the
    protection of reinforcement from corrosion.
    We can improve the durability of concrete by providing you with specially designed mixes, with lower water content,
    more powerful chemical admixtures and most importantly with cementitious
    materials such as Fly Ash, Slag or Microsilica. These materials are especially good in making concrete
    withstand the attack of environmental factors, such as salts, chlorides and sulphates, making concrete more
    water-resistant and strong. As a side bonus, these materials are also very good for the environment by reducing the carbon dioxide emmisions ! This makes your concrete very Green and environmentally friendly.

    Life of a building in engineering terms means “”Service life” – the duration that the structure can
    last WITHOUT significant repairs or maintenance

    The Coastal regions of Saudi Arabia have a very harsh climate. High temperatures, high humidity, high salt
